Survey

Alter-Places is a cooperative project about sustainable practices, which explores the value and contribution of sustainable practices implemented by ACPs in the development of green, fair, diverse urban ecosystems through collaborative work.

In the context of the ALTER-PLACES project, a survey about sustainable practices will be launched.

The survey aims :

1. to identify the diversity of existing sustainability practices,

2. to reveal issues, tensions in their implementation

3. to understand how practices could be disseminated from one organization to another.

The stakes are high, as we aim at helping alternative cultural places to mitigate the effects of climate change, to adapt to them in the best social, economic and cultural conditions possible, while engaging in actions fostering ecological transition.

The survey will be launched in May 2024.

What benefits do we get in participating?

Survey findings will be integrated into a knowledge base that will map and enable network organizations to identify sustainable practices and get in touch to share experiences.

From the results, the project will provide recommendations for alternative cultural places and policy makers.

This survey was initially elaborated by University of Sorbonne Nouvelle, the UFISC and La Main (in the ECO-Art project co-funded by French Ministry of Culture and the LabEx ICCA), as a part of the Alter-Places project.

This project encompasses various research methodologies including statistical analysis, workshops, and individual interviews. The deadline to complete the survey is TBA. It typically takes about 20 minutes to complete.
